I can only guess you fit some sort of immigration profile.  Perhaps someone younger is more of a risk than someone older with an established career and life.

i met my wife on the internet  she lives in Minnesota when i first went over i was striped searched in front of everybody and told they were thinking of sending me back

I am from Minnesota and sorry but I can't believe they would strip search (if that's what you meant) you in front of "everyone" as you say. It just seems a bit much...

I used that and I got "whats your friends name" "howd you meet" "what does he do for employment" "whos the employer" "where will you be staying"

I said the same thing, I was visiting friends. Thing is after you visit "friends" a few times in a year it raises eyebrows. In Birmingham a few weeks ago, I got the third degree and honestly the immigration officer was rude. Rude is being polite about it, she was nasty really. I was honest in answering all of her questions but I don't think it mattered. To me it felt like she was on some power kick really. After I was asked a few things I was made to go sit down off to the side. I wasn't told why or what was happening, just to sit down. I sat until all of the people in line cleared immigration, then was called back up for more questions. In the meantime I got to witness this IO literally yell at some middle age American woman because she wasn't able to provide the complete address of the hotel she was staying at. She kept saying the info was in her suitcase. She made a comment that she never had this problem with immigration in Austria. Wow, wrong thing to say... she had two officers yelling at her that this was the UK not Austria and did she want to go have a seat with me! I understand these people have a very important job to do, but I see no reason they need to be nasty in the process. People are already intimidated by them!!
