Anyone have a good recipe to share?

This one is really simple but tastes great.  It works well b/c you can add more brandy if you wish (and I usually do!!) and stay roughly w/in the same texture.

110g (4oz) Butter
50g (2oz) Icing Sugar
1 tbsp Brandy

Cream butter and sugar together.
Stir in the brandy and beat into the butter and sugar mix.
Place in the refrigerator until needed.

I know I'm late - where's the booze?

buy a tub out of Sainsbury's, then sit and eat it with a spoon.  ;D

mmmm.  thanks!  can't wait till it's melting all over my homemade scones and gingerbread for Xmas morning brekkie.

all this xmas food talk is making me hungry.

I cheat and use our bread machine to make gingerbread.   ;D

I wondered what one put brandy butter on top of.  That sounds delicious!

Traditionally, brandy butter is for mince pies.
But it's gorgeous on anything... even regular toast!  :)
