Visa Time

I'm going to live with my fiance on a fiance visa.  Did anyone else get one of those?  If so, how long did it take for the visa to go through?

There is tons of information to sift through to find the answer to my question.  Seems like it will take hours to read.  If anyone has a quick answer, I'd be more than happy if you'd share.  In the mean time, I'll keep an eye out in the other threads.

If you go in person normally it will be issued the same day,if there aren't any complications. By post it will take a few weeks or more,it depends on the amount visas they are processing at that time

Unfortunately, I'd have to go to Los Angeles to do it in person, which is a long way from Houston.

I'm glad it will only take a few weeks, as I've heard horror stories of it taking months.
