self employment for psychollogy degree

I have a BA from the states in psychology and and counseling, I also did a graphic design course, I have just sent off to get my degree converted for UK standards.

I have a physical  disability so am looking for any information on getting started once I get my visa (I am getting married in April my fiance is from the UK)
