oh it soooo easy!!! growing up, every summer we'd to to the county fairs Santa Clara and Alameda etc. My parents always took us over peek at the baker making cinnamon rolls through the glass. They never used measurements and always made huge quantities so the dough was rolled out, then pats of butter were rubbed in all over, then white sugar (brown sugar is lovely too for stickiness) and cinnamon. Roll it up into a log shape... you can add more butter and sugar as you roll it but not necessary. Slice the log in pieces, let it rise again and bake. YUM!!!
So as an adult I tried it and it is easy... and easy to get carried away, think Cinnabon. I started making it every year during the holidays using the same dough we made for dinner rolls. YUM.
