If i get married in the US to my US GF am i legally married in the UK ??

Me (UK resdent) and my US fiancee plan on marrying in the US, getting her spouse visa and living back here, my question is will i be legally married in the eyes of the UK laws or do we have to have another have another wedding here ?

Yes, the UK government does recognize the validity of marriages that take place in the US.  Many people on this board have done it.
