16 children and counting!

LOL aww just trying to send you a smile or two 

You know I'm going to dream about amorous dolphins molesting spandex clad Pentecostals who end up having schools of little dolphins tonight! 

I only have one sister, but she's seven years older, and growing up I was always expected to help out with her. But when my parents split up, I practially helped raise her.  

I think as long as the parents dont demand too much of the older kids and still spend time with each child, it works. (regardless of how many kids there are)

LOL now that is a vision...hmm have some of your ice cream and think happy thoughts

I agree. Coming from the area and culture I come from, it's not the size of the family that I look at, it's the family culture. Whether I agree with their religious beliefs or not, this is a successful family. Their way of life works for them and they are happy. If one or more of the kids "break out" and join the "greater world", I think they will deal with it very well. They appear to have a very deep faith...not the obnoxious faith that grates on you because they are shoving it down your throat, but the quiet, confident faith that shows by their peaceful countenance. (Good Lord, I'm raving!)

Sorry, but they really made an impression on me! I see so many dysfunctional families in my work that it's great to see a successful one, for a change.

Oh, geez, the mental picture just got worse! Now the dolphins are jumping out of the chocolate syrup ocean and over the chariot driven by Jim-Bob...
