If anyone wants to buy a slow-cooker recipe book, i just bought one 2 weeks ago called:

Fix-it and Forget It Lightly - Healthy, Low-Fat Recipes for your Slow Cooker.... and i hate it.  :(

When i ordered it on Amazon, i didnt realise it is an American book... and i dont like using American measurements, and some of the recipes are very, um... family-orientated, i guess?   Just not the kind of stuff DH and I would eat.  It also asks for ingredients that (as far as i know), we cant get here... like Butter Buds liquid, and Eggbeaters, and Montreal Chicken Seasoning, and all these fat free cheeses, etc.

So anyway, if anyone wants to buy this book from me for a fiver (i'm sure it cost around £10 originally), PM me and it's yours.

"Fix It and Forget It" does not exactly scream appetizing! LOL

Bummer it didn't work for you.

We tried out the pork with BBQ sauce in ours on Monday and it was fantastic!  Just fell apart and was very tasty.  Going to try the chili con carne recipe that came with our cooker for tomorrow.  Will post it here if it turns out well along with the other two recipes included.
