My Mom fixes the Thanksgiving meal every year, and since this will be my last one home for awhile ,then it will be very special for me :)

 Turkey
Dressing(Mom is making home-made this year)
  Sweet potatoes with marshmallows
Mashed potatoes with lots of gravy
   Mixed veggies
   Mac&chesse
    Cranberry sause
    Rolls
    Pies(Pumpkin,and Pecan)
Last but not least is her homemade dip yummmmmm.
There might be something new this year,as you just never know with my Mom ;D

Wednesday at work our company is having a meal catered for us. We'll be having:

Turkey
Cornbread dressing (yes we're in the south :P)
Giblet Gravy (YUCK..has eggs in it and looks like vomit to me)
Cranberry Sauce
Candied Yams
Green Beans
Cloverleaf Rolls
and Pumpkin Pie

So even though I'm not doing anything on Thanksgiving day itself I think I'll be all Thanksgiving'd out by then anyway. :P Especially since my son already had me make a pumpkin pie 2 days ago.

I just made homemade cranberry sauce and the difference is amazing! It took 15 minutes to whip up and is absolutely wonderful. Why were we using that canned stuff all these years???????

Awww... well if you do have to miss celebrating, hopefully you'll get some good news out of the interview.  There's no way round it??   :(

Teri- thanks for your thoughtful response.  Couldn't turn down the opportunity and wasn't till after the interview, I realised it was on Thanksgiving Day! So, hopefully, all will work out well and will have a lot more to be thankful for.  Figure I can go out for sushi that day (since, i'll be in London area)! lol not a turkey but still will give me great joy :)
