There's Rosslyn Deli, in Hampstead--but they deliver.  They have all sorts of US products.  Here's the page which shows they carry Hershey syrup:

The old cartridges were N20...Nitrous Oxide, also known as laughing gas. My older brothers used to steal the cartridges out of my dad's bar in our den. Gotta love the 70s!

My parents have the meshy one. If I could fit it in or tinky fridge, I would get one for sure. Some icy Absolut, a spritz of seltzer and a piece of fresh lime...aaahh. That is heaven!

I'll just take my folks' when I go visit. I'll grab the vodka while I'm there too.
My dad's memory is pretty bad (not an age thing, he is just like the absent minded professor), so I'll just tell hi he gave it to my brother.  [smiley=devilish.gif]

Yes, she did! Seltzer wars....whoever was first to the bottle ruled!  ;)

speaking of gross things my mom used to like eating either fritos or cornbread and buttermilk.....Boak [smiley=lipsrsealed2.gif]

My grandfather did that.... [smiley=puke.gif] But then, my mom used to love to drink straight buttermilk which I always thought was gross...to the max!  ;)

Kinda reminds me of my dad, when I was growing up, after dinner he would pour a HUGE glass of milk, and get the saltine crackers out, and crush up big handfulls of crackers into the milk, and eat it with a spoon, as dessert. And he would tell me, 'Hush, don't tell your mother', and I would yell 'MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!' She hated it when he did that, said it was wasting milk and crackers, he called it a poor southern desert. And mom would come running, 'Oh Brother!!!' she would say, 'He's wasting the milk and crackers!!!!!'  My mom is so goofy, to this day, she will still count the slices of cheese.....but I remember her telling me about how when she and her sister in law, were first married, they would make their husbands work lunches, sandwiches with meat and onion and cheese, and they themselves would sit down for lunch with just cheese and onion sandwiches. They couldn't afford enough meat for both the men's lunches and the women's as well. Kinda makes me grateful for all the luxuries that I have.

My French students who are chocolate drinkers galore... like Crusha...

I don't know if it tastes remotely like Hershey's though..

I am also glad to know that my dad is not the only one that eats buttermilk and cornbread.... he always has it along side his bowl of pinto beans.
