I am moving to London to be with my fiance in June and am planning on going back to school for my Masters in late September/early October. I am coming back to the states for the month of August and was planning on applying for my student visa while I am back in the states. But I am confused, on one site I saw that I only needed to apply no earlier than 3 months before the program start. Somewhere else I read something that said no early than 3 months and then you could only enter 2 weeks before the program starts, and if you are already in the UK you would have to leave and reented 2 weeks prior to program starting. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, can I come back into London at beginning of September with the student visa in my passport and then leave and go somewhere else in Europe and come back in that 2 week time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
