First of all, there are lots of companies (including mine!) - you can find us all listed on
www.oisc.gov.ukSecondly, it is difficult to say whether or not you actually need our services. If you have calculated yourself that you easily fit the points criteria, and you have all the evidence to back it up, and you are a reaosnably intelligent person, in all honesty you probably don't and could do it yourself.
However, do bear in mind that there is quite a lot of detailed, specific evidence that the Home Office need to see to approve these applications, and most people who are refused are refused because they either a) haven't calculate their points correctly or b ) haven't given good enough supporting documentation.
The application form from
www.workingintheuk.gov.uk does give a lot of detail, but obviously consultants have the advantage that we make hundreds of these applications and know the Home Office's little nuances.
At the end of the day, it depends on how confident that you are that your application is solid.
Oh, and if you decide to compile the application yourself, some companies will look through the paperwork and check it is ok, for a much smaller charge than for doing toe whole application for you.
Do feel free to PM me if you'd like more info.
