There is a Papa Johns in Leicester, for what that is worth, lol.  I know that is a bit of a drive, but if you really want one it is not too far.  I live only about 5 minutes away, and have had a few of their pizzas.  They are pretty good...but I miss the pizzas from my hometown.

Perfect Pizza is owned by Papa Johns... I kept seeing their delivery truck outside... :-)

I didn't think that there was a location near enough to us for delivery, but I've been seeing delivery cars in my neighborhood lately.  I love their breadsticks!  Do they have the same dipping sauces as they do in the U.S.?

They sure do. The only thing that was different was that their special garlic butter sauce wasn't in the box with the pizza so that it was nice and saucy. Instead they had it cold and it was like actual butter which is wierd to be dipping your pizza crust in.

I've had the garlic sauce here and it was saucey.  If yours is like butter your local PJ must not know what they're doing!!

I think next time we'll just pop it into the microwave for a few seconds.

I don't go there often, but I have one right next to my tube station, a 3 minute walk from my flat and, yes, the garlic sauce is saucy.

I *love* Papa Johns!  (Cheese sticks....mmmmmmm!!!!)

According to the website, there isn't one near me, but there is a Perfect Pizza, which seems to be an affiliate...anybody try them?

I tried perfect pizza when I was there and was sooooooo dissapointed. It wasn't very good.

To be honest... how good or bad these places are does depend on whose running it as well.

Sure they use the same ingredients, but it's how the pizza is made and how fresh things are.

Our local Dominoes is by far better than the Pizza Hut.  So that's where we go in the rare cases we don't make our own.

It's the same way in the US.  There we ordered from Pizza Hut because the Dominoes was gross.

Very good point, seems every place has it's own way of doing things.

Looooooooooove Papa John's, my favorite quick pizza around where I live. Now there is a pizza place called Salvatore's that does a great hand-tossed, home-made sauce, brick oven cooked pizza. It is out of this world, but very expensive. We got a largeand it cost almost 20 bucks! But was so worth it.
