I'm confused ..... What happens AFTER we get married?

Hey everyone - I really love all the info on this site, but I just realised I've been thinking so much about my initial Visa appointment for temporary settlement, getting the cats over with the pet scheme, and planning the wedding that I have NO CLUE what happens after the wedding.  What do I have to do to finish the settlement visa process?
 
You all have such great advice - I'm sure someone out there has a website address!

you're coming over to the UK as a fiance or as a spouse?

Fiance - getting married August 4th

When you are married you apply to the Home office for leave to remain as a spouse.  The form is FLR (M) and all detail is on www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk

I just suddenly realised we've been spending so much time on the immeadiate stuff, and rightfully so, that we haven't talked at all about what happens after the wedding!

 

you know, that's an excellent point.

i've spent so much time prepping for the wedding and the big move & the spousal visa application that i've given nary a thought to what to do once i get to birmingham.

Getting to where I can get a job is the one I wonder about most, I dont know what comes first the NIH number or the job offer? I think Im thinking of the right thing...
