Been absent but finally got my answer from the British Consulate!

....and I got the lovely GREEN light!  For those that don't remember, I was born in Bermuda to Americans prior to the changes in requirments of citizenship in 1984.  I have to have my US passport and as soon as that comes in I can apply for my UK passport!  I am so happy!  Just when I had given up and decided to move on I got a big YES!  Woohoo!
