Is there anything in the U.S. that I can use to replace this? I have been to every food shop in the area and none carry it.

Tried Waitrose?
http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Orchard-Dairy-Virtually-Fat-Free-Quark/11504011?parentContainer=SEARCHquark

and sainsburys have it

It should be with the cheeses I think, would cream cheese be an alternative or ricotta?

I think the OP is looking for it in the US.

This place and this one have it available to order online.

Or you could always make your own!

I never even thought of making it. I think I should order some so I know what its to taste like before making it.

oh I'm so sorry! Should have read the OP better :)

I make paneer which seems similar to the quark process, it was really easy.

You can always use sour cream in place of quark.
