Finally Married

Dave and I were married May 6th, Life is good......now what do I do for the next step in paperwork...I think I would like to legally change my name....my fiance visa runs out on August 13th...so I have plenty of time...any clear instructions would be helpful.

Congrats on your wedding!!   

To get a new passport in your married name, go to the US Embassy's website for info: http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/acs/passports/renindex.html. 
Once your new passport is issued, then you can apply for FLR(M) in your married name.  The form is available on the IND website here:  http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/ind/en/home/applying/application_form.html.
For US Social Security, you can go through the US Embassy in London.  Here's the link to Social Security's website which details the steps:  http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/ssa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=315.

(This is all assuming that you are in the UK and that you were married here, since you have a fiancé visa.)
