Moving to the US

Thats the part I am not looking forward to since I get 30 fully paid holidays at the moment.

But it will be worth it to see my wife happy back in her homeland and it will be a big adventure for me.

I am the USC...we started the process last June and just found out today that hubby has his interview May 30th! Since your wife has lived here in the UK for so long, you will be able to DCF which is much quicker! You will probably need a joint sponsor, unless she has been filing US tax returns for the last 3 years that cover your family size, but that is really easy to do (we had my parents joint sponsor.)
