I hate the light cooking spray here......i want some pals to send me some from home, but can you send the aerosol cans in the mail?

Has anyone found anything better than nasty fry light?  (other than real oil!)

I brought some Trader Joes Olive Oil spray home with me in my luggage.  My favorite.  :)

Sorry Aimiloo.... i'm big on real oil!
I bought one of those Ainsley Harriot oil sprayers, and just keep refilling it with olive oil when needed.

Anything apart from real oil seems to have a chemical taste/smell... especially that horrible FryLight!!  :-X

Have you tried the Butter Buds you can get?  They are little granules that taste like butter and use the moisture from the food you have cooked.  They are really low in fat.  I tried one on a baked tater and it had a really buttery taste, but I'm not a big fan of butter to start with!

I got mine from Lakeland Limited, £5 for a tub full of the little sachets

Is that not available here?  I've seen ads for the regular stuff, and thought I'd have a look for the spray.

Don't worry Aimiloo I have sent a message to the parents and they will check it out.  I think you can bring that spray across even if it needs to be cold - the luggage hold on the plane is pretty cold.
