What goes with pasta? (veg)

I've also made tomato sauces with carrots and bell peppers in it.  DH looked at it a little funny, but it was good.

Oh red sauce is brilliant because you can chop up all sorts of veggies and hide them.  I'd go with any of the ones suggested.

 

Well aside from the corn -though my friend makes chili with corn in it and it's great!

Yep! Along with peas, the rest of it might not have been so bad, broccoli and peppers, but the corn and peas..ewwww! I dont like cooked broccoli myself, but as long as hes content hehe I can pick it out

I have had peas in a creamy mushroom sauce before, which was very nice, but not so sure about in a tomato based sauce.

Peas are nice in a simple aioli sauce as well.
