I want some too! And all this talk of pickles makes me wish I had dill pickles :(

I always make it the way my mom does, she uses a dressing that's more like a coleslaw dressing, we mix mayo, with a small amount of vinegar, (or pickle juice, if there's no vinegar in the cupboard) and a bit of sugar. It totally makes the best sauce. Then I just add onion, hard boiled egg, and chopped pickles. My mom adds chopped radishes for some zing, but I don't like 'em, so I leave 'em out.

They're exactly what they sound like. Flakes of honey roasted salmon.  I haven't bought any for ages actually but I used ot get them from M&S - they're in the fresh fish section.  You get a little packet for about £2.50.

ps something else I like to use in potato salad instead of the relish is sliced stuffed green olives
