Yay!! I got my entry clearance today.

Hubby and I went up to NYC last night, got up this AM and went to consulate. Not just an entry clearance, but an Indefinite Leave to Enter. Apparently, as we have been married more than 4 years and continuously living together here in the US, it qualified me to be able to permanently settle as soon as we arrive in UK. [smiley=stunned.gif] I had no idea.
I double checked and sure enough it is in the IND website. You still have to fill out the application, and required documentation (certificate, employment/support, accomodation) but for those in same situation this might be helpful info. Here is the section:
