Snookered?

Any/many Americans getting into snooker...lots on telly at the moment?

I used to follow it back in the Jimmy White, Hurricane, Thorburn, Clfford, Taylor era.

I personally think it is a really good game.

I have tried it a few times but damn, those tables are big and them pockets are wee bit on the small size for someone that couldn't hit a barndoor at 10 paces with a tank.

Yes, Yes  The Rocket has crashed. Ronni O'Sullivan is out. Hopefully Dott does the business against the pedestrian like Ebdon. 

Amazingly I really enjoy watching it. When I first moved here I thought it was truly weird that snooker, darts, etc. were on TV. But dh will watch essentially anything involving competition of any sort and so I started watching too and I really like it now. I think it's a pleasure watching anyone do anything really, really well. Though I have to be in the right mood for darts. 

I, too, get mesmerized by snooker on TV and am amazed at the talent involved as the tables are so much bigger.  I think I understand how the game is played but knowing my abilities at pool I imagine I'd be pretty bad at snooker!

For some reason, I cant get enough of it. Its interesting to watch. The pockets are alot smaller.
