APPROVED!

Received email notification on Friday

"Your application has been approved and the visa has been issued."

For both me and my Son.  Waiting for the return of the documents and passports.  Funny, when I got the FedEx receipt, we sent 4 lbs of documents to the consulate.  A little overkill, but we didn't want to miss anything.

Applied Monday, May 8 online and paid $1,000 for 2 visas online.  Arrived Tuesday at the Consulate in Los Angeles.  Got approval notification on Friday, May 12.  We did a spousal visa so it was pretty straight forward.

Tickets are booked for July 4.  We bought those back in January.  Stuff ships on June 20.  Last day at work is June 30.  Leave out with probably 5 suitcases checked and 2 carry ons July 4.  Arrive into Manchester on July 5. 

I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!
