This time is so much harder!

Me and my fiance have been LD for almost a year, but we are lucky enough to see each other every 3 months. Well he was just here 2 weeks ago for 8 days, but since he's been gone I've been finding it a lot harder than all the other times.

I too have to ups and downs that everyone in a LDR has, but this time seems to be all downs. We talk everyday (we both have unlimited internet, and webcams...and its great to be able to see and hear him at the same time) so its not like I'm not getting enough contact.

Maybe its because next time I see him will be for the 'wedding' and I just want it to be here already.

I'm not really looking for advice I guess. I know there's a lot of people in the same position, and like everyone have to take the bad with the good. Its just one of those days.

I totally know what you mean.  I leave in 27 days to go and spend a month in England before getting married.  I'm so ready to be there now and to be with him!  Lots and lots of empathy for you!

I hear you! It's definitely not easy to do the long distance thing, but I wouldn't trade my man for anything... even when he's too far away! Sometimes I miss him so much I am not sure I will be able to smile again.. but I do. It helps that I am always keeping a countdown of some sort until we are together again.  You have lots of people here who can relate and offer a sympathetic ear and some support when needed! I hope time ticks by quickly for you until you are together again.. for good. [smiley=hug.gif]

I agree with and empathize with you....the LDR is tough...there is the excitement of seeing them when they arrive at the airport and the disappointment and sadness when he leaves or vice versa...but you just have to try to think positive you are going to be with him soon forever...and you have made it this far and have endured a lot ..you will be able to go the distance...I am moving to England in a weeks time...after 2 and 1/2 years of a LDR it is time to be with him...I wish you luck and joy...and I completely understand what you are going thru....
