World Cup watch parties for USA?
« on: May 16, 2006, 04:26:15 PM »
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone was planning any get-togethers at a bar or pub or a home to watch the USA matches for the World Cup.  I'm in Birmingham and was planning on going to Sports Cafe on Broad St to watch them and hope for other Yanks to show up.

Anyone in London or B'ham going to a pub or bar?

Good question. Might be a good night out to find a place and get the London crowd together to watch. I hadn't thought of that.... My dh will be watching every minute of every match but I think he's planning on watching at home.

Anyone interested in a London gathering for this?

possibly.   :)  Some of us got together in that huge sports bar during the last world cup for the USA game and had a good time.
