Kleenex
« on: June 20, 2006, 09:06:35 PM »
I recently got a summer cold and discovered the world of Kleenex in the UK.  :-\\\\

I deperately wanted the lotion or menthol type and sadly discovered it is a US thing.  :(

Kleenex Balsam is just not cutting it.

I am generally the type to make do with local products but I may just have to bring a box back with me on my next visit! It's funny the little things you miss even when you have no regular use of them!!

I love Puffs. For me Kleenex are too rough on my nose when I blow it all day.

There was no Puffs option at the shop.

A quick P&G search and it looks like they make Tempo which I did see at the shop but just the basic kind which I've used before.

You could use an essential oil, and douse the kleenex with it, just a thought. When I was pregnant, and would get stressed out, and even after, I would take those little plastic things that the hair dye gloves come in, put in some cotton balls, and saturate them with lavender oil, and take them out and just breathe them in to soothe me, put the cap back on, and slip it back into my purse. It worked wonders, and lasted for a long time.

If you have other shops in your area, look around, go to different chemists, they do exist here, I have seen them!

Olbas Oil....

At night I put a few drops on a tissue, then tuck the tissue in my pillowcase.  Works wonders!  I've been thinking, though...why not put some tissues in a small (i.e., sandwich) bag, sprinkle a few drops in, then seal the bag?  The tissues should be lovely and 'smelly' when it's time to use them.  Hmmm...I'll have to try that....

Just don't rub your eyes.... ;)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
