Oh what was I thinking!¿?
« on: June 26, 2006, 08:21:20 PM »
Ugh. I booked the train tickets and was really happy about it. I got them for a good price, too. I called my mom last night to tell her that I'll see her on Thursday. She was like, I thought you were going home on Friday, so I had a quick look at my flight plan and what do you know? I am going home on Friday! I booked the train tickets a day before we're really leaving. I had the 29th as the date we were leaving in my head for the longest time. Luckily Jamie is the calm one and decided, instead of stressing, fix it. He's booked a B&B by Gatwick for the night. So I suppose it isn't so bad. They're going to pick us up and drop us off to/from Gatwick for free and we won't have to worry about missing the plane for any reason. It's such a silly mistake because I didn't check when we were leaving. Good thing I have a cool and collected husband.  ::)

I feel so DUH!

Well you will get it worked out! At least you figured it out now and not when you arrive without a plan! Don't feel bad, it sounds like me too! I am leaving here on the 2nd and arriving there on the 3rd so keep getting confused as to when I need a ride to the airport! I finally have it straight now  ;D

I hate those duh moments!  I know there have been times when I actually turned up to stuff on the wrong day.  I've even gotten a diary to help me.  But I still somedays think I'm too smart for it, and then come my duh moments!   ::)  At least Jamie found what seems to be a pleasant solution!
