Vonage DSL and Broadband questions
« on: July 10, 2006, 09:02:42 PM »
We have had Vonage for about 2 weeks now and love it. The only thing that is causing us trouble is we want to replace our cable tv for dish network or direct tv. They offer dsl, but you need a phone line for dsl and we do not have that. Our broadband is with the local cable company but they want $39.95 for non-customers to continue the broadband and that is just to much. We saw an ad for aol broadband and thought that might be a good choice. Unless anyone can tell me different about dsl. Any help on who is best to go with? We have always just gone with the local cable company but here in Indiana, where we have been only 1 months, its awful service and reception even after they came out to fix the channels, we were told that is the way it is.
