Online bank statements?

When going for Entry Clearance, has anyone submitted electronic copies of their bank statements?

You have to submit the actual "statement."  If you just print out the transaction information available on the website, you will run into issues.

I get my bank statements electronically and the include all the "proper" bank information when I print it out.  They look just like the proper bank statements, just not in colour.  I used those for my visa and did not have any problems.

Thanks,

Sadly Wachovia does not currently have electronic statements so i guess i'll have to go into the branch to get a copy of most recent one (my issue is that i won't get my july 20th statement until the 26th in the post and i need my passport back  by the 6th August for another holiday.  I'm hoping the NYC would be able to process me in a week for my VAF-1, but don't want to risk it).

As a side note, is it acceptable to also include your 401 savings?

In NYC they didn't complain when we presented printouts of HSBC's online statement.

Ditto for me at NYC.  I just had printed copies of both mine & my parent's current account balance and no one batted an eyelid.

LA didn't even looked at my bank statements when I got my EC for a work permit. I remember this because my bank wanted to charge me for printing them but the teller helping me was English and just moved to the states so he let me slide.

You shouldn't have any problems.  I had printouts of mine (applied in person in NYC) because I threw them all away before I moved.  ::)
