Ordered my cot (crib) today!

We went and ordered the cot today!  This might sound weird, but even after having seen the baby during the scan this purchase makes it seem so much more real.  It's the first big thing we've bought.  We went to M&P and ordered the Metro style, which of course wasn't on sale.  Urrrghhh.  We should have it in about 2 weeks.

How exciting! David's friends here ordered that line of nursery stuff through M&P and it looks *adorable*!!! We are using a cot that was made for David when he was born, but once baby Philip is old enough to sit up we'll have to get him a bigger cot, like the normal kind that sit on the ground... his now is more like a gigantic wooden bassinette/moses basket type thing... but really pretty and obviously really sentimental - nice to have our baby in the same crib that his daddy slept in. The thing is heavy as h£ll and solidly built, my in-laws had it built by a family friend and he went a bit overboards.
