Natwest Visa is the only high street bank that has an airmiles program, and Tesco's also awards airmiles if paid by visa. You can also buy airmiles with Tesco's points.

I've seen airmiles for auction on http://www.ebay.co.uk

We also get airmiles from our American Express.  I think for every pound spent we get 1.5 miles (depending upon with travel club you join).  After £15,000 you get a free ticket with your spouse.  Or something like that.  This is a Glen thing, I just do the spending to ensure we get our miles..  ;)
