Travel on ILR Visa November 2024

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there are any conditions/restrictions on length of travel (outside the UK) on an Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa? I've read elsewhere that you can be gone from the UK for up to two years and still retain your ILR status, but I know these terms are always changing. Anyone have any clarity on this? Asking as I may need to be back in the US for a consecutive few months in the new year. TIA!

Under present rules, it is still up to 2 years residing outside the UK.

I assume you know you will need an e-Visa from 2025 and that BRPs end this year?
