find a phone number for her or her office and call- find someone who will answer your questions. It's easy to miss or ignore an email, but not so much a phone call.
I'll tell you, even if she signed the papers today and sent them off, it's unlikely that your loan will be ready in 11 days. If she sends the paperwork back via airmail, then that's at least 3-4 business days to get to your lender, then your lender has to have your loan guaranteed by a government agency, which will take a few days (and that's only if you're really super on top of things.) As part of the guarantee process it's likely the guarantor will try to contact your school again, so if your loan person isn't prompt in responding to *that* request, your guarantee (and thus loan approval) will be delayed. It took about 2.5-3 weeks for my Stafford loan to be approved after my loan dude sent the paperwork back in. And of course, visa applications will take about 7-14 days by mail, depending.
I really think you're going to have to push your departure date back, Relaynie, unless you have enough money to apply for the visa (in person) without the loan papers. Hang in there, I know it's frustrating
