how to get rid of unwanted crinoline?

We got married in March, and I have my crinoline I need to sell. I've been to the wedding shops in my town but no one wants a used crinoline ('we have a *factory* we order from' - yikes!). Any ideas of how to get rid of it, short of ebay?

Many women I know of just sell it with the dress. There is a very strong "Everything new" idea running through the bridal industry.

If you can sell it, it would be very cheap- $15/£15 or so, so it may not be worth your while. Good luck either way.

Thanks for the response, though. I'm not bothered if it's not worth much, as I bought it on ebay. But now ebay hardly seems worthwhile, as you said. At the time, there seemed like a good market in second-hand ones. I thought about car boots, but it's a bit specialised isn't it?

My only purpose of keeping it is to randomly wear it around the house in the eveing, but that seems  a bit silly...   

I have the same problem, it's a bit sad really, I know mine costed around $50 new at least and I only wore it for the day. Oh well 

I guess we just don't have the sentimental attachment to them we do our wedding dresses

If I can keep it long enough, it might be great dress-up clothes if we have a daughter...

Mine's too big (puffy) so I'm leaving it here in the states. Maybe I'll use it for something one day, but not right now
