DH and I are currently putting in bids for his next assignment. The top one on our list right now is Barbados. Of course, we had to choose a country that requires a 6 month quarantine for pets (oddly enough, they get quarantined here in the UK) UNLESS that pet is coming from the UK. Basically, our situation is this: we would leave the UK and be in the US for about a month. If kitty came with us, she would have to be quarantined. Therefore, we would have to leave her here in the UK and have her travel once we were in Barbados. So...I'm in need of recommendations for pet transport companies. Preferably any that might provide boarding before travel. Any recommendations that any of you have used in the past would be greatly appreciated. Of course, this move wouldn't happen for a year and just because we bid on it doesn't mean we'll get it, BUT my stomach is already in knots wondering how I could pull it off. Thanks for any help!
