Marriage Visa/Entry Clearance/Work?
« on: February 04, 2004, 06:04:39 AM »
I just got my passport back from the British Consulate just 5 days after applying for my Marriage VISA  :)

However I was expecting more than just a sticker in my passport that says "Entry Clearance".

My question is should I have got anything else that says VISA on it, and will I need any other official documents to prove that I am entitled to work in the UK?

I called the consulate and they said I had all I needed, but it all seems too simple!!!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Congrats on your marriage and on your visa!  You'll be hopefully glad to know that that little (rather expensive) sticker is indeed all you will need.  It's a very special bit of paper!  :)

Good luck!
