I now always something to drink on my desk, if I notice that I don't have a bottle of water I immediately go and get one. I don't eat an lot of salt and I'm not diabetic, I have just found that since I drink about 50-60oz a day now that if I don't get as much I get very thirsty.

I'm kind of glad ot hear that this happens to other people, too.

DH makes fun of me because I drink so much more water than he does, and yet I'm thirsty all the time.

I always get looks because I am always downing water, but since I have been drinking so much I don't crave the soft drinks like I used to. I might have a Diet Dr Pepper every now and then but that's about it except for my morning coffee or the occasional glass of milk.

I think your body is just so relieved that it's finally getting all the water it wants, it goes a little crazy!
