I've seen it at different markets selling local stuff. Some places will even give a sample.

I haven't seen plain old cider here, but I think I'll have to look more closely!

Our Sainsbury's does a cloudy apple juice that is very similar to cider in the states.  As I said it is similar.  I loved my apple cider in New England.  Use to go pick our own apples for fall and also purchase the cider right there from the apple growers.  Here in Kent I have not found a local supplier of cider as we know it.  They make hard cider.
