Me too!! It was a relief!

In case anyone is wondering, I sent about 32 boxes (mostly small Uhaul boxes, but two medium (but big!) Uhaul boxes, an extra big one for two paintings I had specially packaged, a scanner in it's box, and a large plastic bin with a lid that had a bunch of clothes.) It all still came in under 100 cubic feet, so we didn't have any additional charges.
Our costs were a smidge higher than what has been quoted by some others that worked with UPak because we weren't near the coastal cities, so we had to move our stuff from Salt Lake City (the nearest city with a UPak warehouse) to Houston through UPak, that added on a bit and then I imagine getting it to Wales did as well. I still feel our costs were very reasonable for the amount of stuff we shipped. I mean every one of these boxes was
VERY heavy. Most of my shipment was full of books. There were enough that M-bags were not at all practical for me.
It was also nice to have everything brought right up into the flat and put where we needed it. They even help with furniture reassembly (if we had furniture). Since our flat is on the third floor (that's US third floor), I hate to think of having to get it all from the post office and up three flights of stairs if we'd gone with other choices. I've heard complaints about the service on the UK side, but we were pretty happy with them as well. The UK movers did misplace a few papers, but I just emailed Alison who sorted them out immediately with no worries. The delivery people were nice and appeared to take good care of things, so I'm counting myself as very lucky there. I've heard others say that UK movers can be a mess.
All in all, good stuff on my end though. I'll let you know if I find any more concerns, but it is looking fine so far.
