credit/mobile phones on a FLR visa

I'm wanting to get a mobile phone contract and start getting credit, but I am still on my FLR visa. Is it possible to get either or am I going to have to wait until I get IRL or citizenship?

Yes it's totally possible, though I know some places (Vodafone for example) may ask for a deposit to get the contract.  I had no credit, and they said I had to pay a £100 deposit and I would get it back after 6 months if all bills were paid on time.  I guess just shop around and see what's on offer.

I got my virgin contract with very little if no credit.  It's been fine!  :)  Good luck!
