Grocery store comparision website

I read about a new site today MySupermaket.co.uk]MySupermaket.co.uk

It lets you compare prices from Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda. I selected some of my usual purchases and to my pleasant surprise Waitrose was not really much more expensive, in fact Sainsbury's was higher! A sample of products totaled up like this.

Sainsbury's £37.68
Waitrose £36.73
Asda £35.40
Tesco £33.93

Very happy about that because I love Waitrose and never cared if we were spending more because their products are great AND the people that work there are friendly and helpful. (You can actually find workers on the floor that will assist you if you can't find something).  Also it seems the customers are a bit more civil (its not a free for all with folks crashing into you).

PS - They are always fully stocked too!  :) Always a pleasant experience!

Wicked! Thanks for that ;D I live near a Waitrose, too & I must admit I have been keeping a price check diary (sad, I know!) & you're right - it's not much more money at all for most things (some, yes, but you know you're going to LOVE it!)

I also love how they have a wide variety of international food & the aisles are wide. Hands down - they DO have the best customer service!

It's pretty embarrassing that I am being entertained by a grocery store comparison shop on a Saturday night.   [smiley=blush.gif]  That is a cool site!  I tried it out and it's pretty accurate.

That is great, thank you.

Wow, Sainsbury's is more then Waitrose, I'm shocked.  Waitrose is my favourite shop, maybe we will go there more often now.

Just wanted to say, we did our shopping at Waitrose yesterday, (mainly for the Libby's pumpkin).....got fifty items, for £51.26. And that included three cans Libby's and two boxes poptarts!!  ;D I was pleasantly surprised, because I always try to keep it around fifty no matter where we go. I really thought it would be more, because besides getting nearly everything on my list, (only missing two items) I got a lot of impulse stuff as well!
