My DB will be starting teacher training in March. We will be getting married eventually and I am hoping to be able to transfer to the UK with my current company. They have offices in Warrington, Abingdon, and Runcorn. Leicester is also an option (this is where DB currently resides) but could be more tentative. I believe that I could chose any of these locations to transfer too. DB's teacher training can be done in any of the places (or extremely close by). Does anyone live in these towns, know anything about them, where it would be the safest to live, etc? I know Abingdon is the most expensive (based on some preliminary rental quotes). We will most likely need to rent a two bedroom semi-detached with a garden (we have three dogs between us) and will need the second bedroom for when family comes to visit.
I would love opinions, suggestions, advice. I am going into this a bit blind. DB is going to visit all the towns but doesn't know much about them.
