HELP! How do I post quickly??
« on: November 30, 2006, 04:31:21 AM »
Ok..so I have Mike's passport.  He needs it by Dec7th.  I won't get it until Friday according to Fedex.com.  My question is....do I over night it with FedEX?  Do I overnight it with USPS?  What are your experiences?  I need it there hella quick...doesn't HAVE to be over night...but Im willing to pay an arm and a leg to get it in his hands so he will be here the 7th!

Please help...I beg of you! shower me with your pearls of knowledge.

Dondra (and Mike too I guess, lol)

FedEx is much more reliable then USPS but you are going to be pushing it.  International Express Service can take a couple of days.

You could also try DHL. Good luck!

I have...touch wood...never had a single problem with FedEx's overnight service and I have had to use it half a dozen or more times so far during our prolonged passport and visas journey. I highly recommend them.

FedEx, definitely!  I've used them to overnight a check from the UK to the US and it got there in less than 24 hours.  Pricey, but worth it!

We use DHL and just got something from London to Ottawa in two days, so most couriers will be able to get stuff to the US in roughly the same amount of time...maybe add a day if he's not near a major city.

I agree...it's worked that way in both directions for me, about two days...most recently with something that was FedExed to me overnight last week from the US...it took two days, even though it was mailed the day before Thanksgiving...good luck!

FedEx overnight.  It may take up to three days (yes, even though it says overnight), but its worth it!
