Hiya,
Credit where credit is due, my best mate and his wifey had premature twins a few weeks ago and the NHS Special Care Baby Unit in my friends words have been awesome. One of the pip squeaks inside his wifey was causing complications and strain and so they had to be popped out asap according to the docs, I think they were at the end of 7 months so couple months early. The unit provides them with a phone line in, nurses dedicated, visitation anytime. I'm sure there's other benefits but I guess my mate and his wifey know what they are (i've never been in this situation)
They both are praising the unit and the care they've recieved as well as the 2 kiddies - one line from them was 'thank god for this NHS unit' !
As i've said before, credit where credit is due, and the NHS getting praise for where it does do good work - like everything its so easy to home in on the negatives and forget the positives!
Cheers! DtM! West London & Slough UK!
