mulled wine

I read a good review in a wine column in a magazine about Marks & Spencer's pre-bottled white mulled wine... I bought some today, and will let you know when i've tried it.

I expect i will try it tonight, after i get in from walking the hound. 

It was way to sweet with port, I'm so glad I tried it with Brandy....so much better!

OMG... it was gooood!   
It's German white wine, with clove, cinnamon, lemon, orange peel, cardamom, fennel, nutmeg & pimento.
I heated it with some orange slices, and it's verrry nice.   

Is it a sweetish wine?

erm.. no, i wouldnt say so.  but once its got cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, etc in it, it does taste sweeter than normal.

it's only £2.99, so worth a try...

What a bargain! I'll definitely have to pick some up!

Oh, hurrah, same price as Tesco's!  I'm definitely picking up a bottle! (and I've never tried mulled white wine before)
