are there facilities on Gatwick Express?

We're flying out of Gatwick for the first time next month and are trying to decide whether to take a cab or the Gatwick Express to the airport.  One huge factor in our decision is the availability of facilities, as we are travelling with 2 young children (and my own impossibly small bladder).  Does anyone know if there are toilet facilities on the Gatwick Express?  If so, it could really sway our decision...

There are on the Heathrow Express.  Not that it answers your question but I'd assume there are.  Or you could call and ask...

well a cab definitely doesn't have a loo so if that's what you need, i would take the train;

HA! really?  I always wondered about that.

I have taken the Gatwick Express (train) many times and they have the large toliets that you get on trains, but even in first they don't have power for laptops which I think stinks, but that is just me.

I don't think there is a bus service called Gatwick Express, though National Express does have services to and from there and they did have toliet facilities.

Don't forget to check ahead of time on the weekends, because they have engineering works between Redhill and Gatwick in the early mornings lately.  You might find yourself sitting at Redhill having to use replacement bus service to Gatwick.  National Rail has all the necessary information about closures and the like.
