favorite: cumberland sausages, godminster cheddar, smoked fish

worst: black puddding (gross!), HP, Branston, Marmite, crap pub food
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Favorite:  steak and ale pie, yorkie bars, most sunday roasts (I grew up in a non-cooking family), oooh, and full English breakfasts!

Worst: black pudding, the fish in fish and chips (I hate seafood anyway) and donner meat.

Off the top of my head,

Best: Jaffa Cakes and Terry's Chocolate Oranges

Worst: Yoghurt that is so sweet it rots your teeth, dougnuts drowned in baking sugar, white bread with the crusts cut off, excessive amounts of mayonnaise on food

Weird but true... except for the canned hotdogs and some regional items, we have all that stuff in Canada.

Best:  The gigantor Marmite containers available here.  The amazing variety in bread.

Worst:  pub food.  The beer isn't so great, either... coming from a micro-brew town...

What's typical pub food? I used to live by a little pub and they make really good food.... But it's not your typical pub, it was small and quiet in a little village.

When I think of pub food, I think of fish and chips or homemade pies! Yum!
