Hiya!

Extremely simple response to this! - What is your budget? from that, pick the closest package from the DJ you feel is best value for money. If you want to go up a 'level' you can then evaluate if the extra dosh is worth spending or not :)

I have a few friends in the DJ circuit - cater for the Indian weddings and family functions mainly, and some of their setups are phenomenal! one of the very best I saw was a DJ mate who was asked to get live Indian instrument players and singers, to 'mix' into the sounds he was playing on the decks - it sounded and looked jaw droppingly fantastic - one of the very best I've seen! (he had the full laser and large screens and projectors as well)

Good luck and congrats for gettin hitched!

Wow, in my opinion the Basic or maybe the Bronze package is certain suitable. All those lights and lasers and video screens just seem unnecessary for a wedding, it looks more like a night club! I mean, if thats what you want then go for it, it's your wedding.... but personally, I wouldn't need or want all that extra stuff.

But if you're going to go with all those lasers and club-like lighting, I would speak to your photographer about it so he/she is prepared for the lighting situation.

And I agree with Dennis. If you are on a budget then of course book the most reasonably priced DJ. For me personally I think I would skimp on the DJ and put the money into something else such as food, booze, flowers, etc. I wouldn't book a DJ with a huge light show etc. But if its your budget then go for it!
How many guests are you expecting?
We were lucky and had a friend who is a professional DJ do ours as a gift!

I'm thinking about the gold package but with plasmas instead of the projector screens ! Also, he's gonna chuck the laser in for free and add some confetti cannons and pyrotechnics too! Needs to be a big setup as there's gonna be about 300 guests !
