thank you. i looked on sidestep.com and ended up booking a bmi flight there for $300 less than what was advertised for the same flight on expedia, priceline, cheapseats, and the bmi website. i would definitely recommend that site to anyone searching for flight deals in the future.

Glad you liked them!   :)

I wonder if we're on the same flight?  What day are you leaving?  We're flying out on the Sept. 22.

So am I--it looks like my flight leaves a little before 9 PM.

Our flight leaves at 4:05 pm.  Wait, are you on the east coast?  We are.  I thought you said, in an earlier post, you applied at the LA consulate.

We're flying out of LaGuardia.  I didn't even think to ask you that first. :P

I'm flying out of Newark on Virgin Airlines on the 16th of September. I don't have my exact flight times yet though! I ended up going on a group flight, but I would have probably purchased through statravel.com had I not. I think I bought my ticket to NYC off expedia and it was around $100 bucks (PHX to NYC) for the 10th of September.

I'm in Colorado. I'll be flying from Denver to Toronto, enjoying a luxurious five-hour layover in the Toronto airport  :P, and then flying from Toronto to London. At the price I got, though, I really can't complain.

I know!! It's madness, I tell you! Sometimes I get all excited, but I'm also experiencing random bouts of anxiety over it (which is silly because I am a very nomadic person by nature).

just remember you already "know" at least some people in England!  I'm always happy to come down and hang out in London if you get lonely in the first few weeks/months :)

That does help very much! And that is very sweet for you to offer! I may just take you up on that :)
